RE:Add News
Hello.

I am a little bit confused what issue with adding new cms.news document do you have? When using our default Corporate site ASPX web site template, cms.news document type is pre-defined, so you can add a new document of cms.news document type in CMSDesk -> Content section, if you click „New“ button and choose „News“ document type. What exact problem do you have with this, please?

As for „direct interface“ – how this new interface should be different from current interface, called CMSDesk, please?

If you want to create news documents from live site, you can use User contribution (Wiki) module (http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/user_contributions_overview.htm), or you can do it via API: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/creating_documents.htm
