Cannot Search Document types

We are using smart search to search, I did create a new index and I did not check the Document types in the CMS Sitemanager when I was indexing the search so that it would index every thing. But I am not able to get Documents types as the search results. when i perform a search in the cms desk.

But i get results out from a SQL search.

Could anyone guide me what may be wrong ?

Hi,

Could you please let me know which version of Kentico CMS are you using?

Please make sure that smart search indexing is enabled (Site manager -> Settings -> section Web Site -> Enable smart search indexing).

Would it be possible to post some screenshots of index settings?

What do you mean with “I did not check the Document types in the CMS Sitemanager”?

Which web parts are you using to search and display search results?

Have you set the Transformation name property?

Hi,

Could you please make sure that you have rebuilt the index?

Could you please check that you have defined cultures for the index AGA (Site manager -> Administration -> Smart Search -> select the index AGA -> tab Cultures ) and that you have assigned it to the appropriate site (Site manager -> Administration -> Smart Search -> select the index AGA -> tab Site ). Please do not forget to rebuild the index.

If it does not help, could you please let me know which version of Kentico CMS are you using?

Is there any documentation on setting up the schedules for the smart search? I looked at the articles, but they do not show us if there are any pre-buit tasks around smart search.
