CMSPreferredUICulture
I have users who are receiving exceptions that say 'Culture name 0 is not supported' when attempting access their Kentico instance.

When I check their cookies I see where CMSPreferredUICulture holds the value "0". Is there a correlation and perhaps a bug somewhere?

Any help appreciated.

RE:CMSPreferredUICulture
Hi,

What is the exact version of Kentico CMS do you use? There were some issues similar to this in previous, 4.x versions. Thank you for any additional details.

Best regards,

Hi,

Which culture is set in Administration -> Users -> edit the user -> Preferred culture settings?
Could you please click OK to re-save this form?

Best regards,

RE:CMSPreferredUICulture
There are 2 settings...

Preferred content culture and Preferred user interface culture. Both have the value "Default" when a new user is created.

If I explicitly set the Preferred user interface culture to English (in my case). The problem appears to go away.

To me the question is why does the setting of "Default" produce a zero for the cookie value. This happens is more than one Kentico instance that I maintain. Also, it seems to be only IE that has the issue.

Thanks!

RE:CMSPreferredUICulture
Hi,

There was a bug in 4.x version with the "default" value selected. However it was already fixed. Was your CMS upgraded?

Have you tried to re-save the form by clicking on OK button?
