RE:Take a while during Import Objects (remote installation)
Hi,

Could you please check the Site Manager -> Administration -> Event log section if there are any erros logged?

I guess that during the import process is the application restarted (Discount.ASP has strict settings for CPU and memory usage and import process is pretty complicated and uses more resources than usual application run) and the session is lost.

If it is possible, could you use the SQL server express edition locally, import the web site and then just do the backup&restore of the database on the hosting server?

Best regards,

RE:Take a while during Import Objects (remote installation)
Hi,
What are the disk permissions set for your web project folder (http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/disk_permissions_problems.htm).
There is nothing in the stack trace from Kentico CMS. Are you running the site in medium trust? Have you configured Kentico for this (devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/configuration_for_medium_trust_environment.htm)?

I found this using Google:

www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php
social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/netfxbcl/thread/e672553f-e885-42c4-9d2c-dd1906c02e3b
