RE:Install 2 cms instances in 1 server?
Hi,

I have some thing like 10 instance on a single server. all on the port 80. they use different Domain name.

Site 1 = www.domain1.com
Site 2 = www.domain2.com

if your referring to a single application with a virtual folder. you need to have the same build. I haven't been able to host different build in a virtual folder.

Site 1 = www.domain.com
Site 2 = www.domain.com/Site2

Thanks Franck!

if site1 and 2 are both hosted on a single server, does the dns server points to the same IP address?

yes, I was referring to single server with virtual folders...

RE:Install 2 cms instances in 1 server?
Hi,

you can have whatever number of instances installed on one server. However, each site (cms instance) must have its own domain name (or domain name with subfolder/virtual directory).

The DNS records setting is fully up to you how you will point them to the IIS.
