Content Tree not Expanding When Using SSL
Hello,

I am running my website using IIS 7, through which I enabled https for access. I can navigate all of the pages fine, but when I go into the CMS Desk, none of nodes in the content tree are expanding. Further more, when I go to the Properties > Security option for a page, nothing happens when I click Add users or Add roles (there should be a pop up window). This only happens when accessing the CMS Desk through https, but works fine with http.

I have tried requiring/not requiring SSL for the site in IIS and also the Administration of the CMS Desk. Do you have any thoughts on why this is happening, or any suggestions for a fix?

Thanks,
Mike

RE:Content Tree not Expanding When Using SSL
Hello,

This is strange. What exact version of Kentico CMS are you running? Do you have installed any hotfixes?

As long as I'm concerned, there were two possible causes of the nodes not being expanded: http://devnet.kentico.com/FAQs/Content-Management/There%E2%80%99s-an-issue-with-the-Content-tree---nodes-can.aspx - please take a look at it whether it won't solve your issue.

Best regards

RE:Content Tree not Expanding When Using SSL
Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. I am currently working through them to see if it will correct the problem. I am running Kentico CMS v5.5.3996 R2 without any hotfixes. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Thanks,
Mike
