Cannot load the page without .aspx
The url mysite.com/mypage.aspx works fine but without .aspx extension, the page is not found.

In settings > URL > Files friendly URL extension = ".aspx".

Anything missing?

RE:Cannot load the page without .aspx
Just a bit more information about this issue. This is v5.5.3789. I have recently added a new website. The templates and document types are imported onto this environments. the content is synchronised via content staging from my local machine where the content was created.

The other website on the box seems to be working fine with extensionless url. The new website is not working without typing .aspx into urls. I checked and make sure that the URLs settings are the same as below.

Friendly URL extension = {empty}
Files friendly URL extension ".aspx"
Exclueded URLs = {empty}

RE:Cannot load the page without .aspx
Found the solution. I thought it must be something to do with IIS settings. :-)

http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/5_5/devguide/index.html?custom_url_extensions_iis6.htm

Working now.

Cheers
