Database setup - Step 3 - freezing
I'm trying to install kentico on windows 7 enterprise 64-bit;
everything is fine until it gets to step 3:
after logging to db with SQL Server account, it seems that setup is freezing, there's no progress, the buttons "next previous" are disabled, the gif moves really slow and no other message is shown; database tables seems that have been populated but setup is not completed;
in the event viewer everything seems ok:

Login succeeded for user 'sa'. Connection made using SQL Server authentication. [CLIENT: <local machine>]
Starting up database 'kentico'.
etc

I'm a webdesigner and I'm not so expert about iis and sqlexpress installation, anyway i tried to follow every step in installation guide.
thanks for any help

RE:Database setup - Step 3 - freezing
Hello,

Have you tried to access the site directly with the url (e.g. http://localhost/virtual_dir/default.aspx)?

Best regards,

RE:Database setup - Step 3 - freezing
Hello,

yes, Itried but when I try to access directly the url (http://localhost/kenticodemo/default.aspx) it always redirects to database setup - step 1 (in my case: http://localhost/kenticodemo/cmsinstall/install.aspx);

thanks again

What version of IIS are you using? Could you please check the configuration of your virtual directory?
