Request for help on WebInstaller 5.0 installation error
When WebInstaller 5.0 installation is started, the error message appears :-

Webinstaller.exe - .NET framework initialization error
Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application.

=============================

Home system is winXP running Visual Studio 2010 express. Even downloaded .NET framework 4.0 and repaired.

Still got same error message.

Any advice?

Consider case closed.

Solved by installing the Microsoft Web Installer; this will auto-install the .Net 2.0 Framework.

Hi,

The problem might be in the fact, that in version 5.0 of Kentico is not supported .Net 4.0 nor VS 2010. These are supported since version 5.5 which is coming soon.
