Visual Studio 2008 Settings
Just wondering if anyone had any feedback on getting the best performance while working on a Kentico site within Visual Studio 2008? What settings do you use, not use, etc. We don't pre-compile to publish the site or anything like that.

I've got some computer related performance issues aside from this, but just looking to get the best out of Visual Studio while running such a large project. I currently run Visual Studio in /SAFE mode to disable a few plugins, specifically AnkhSVN seemed to not enjoy loading with such a large project. Any other suggestions? Is there any cleanup we can do of files within the folder that don't need to be within the project, etc.?

RE:Visual Studio 2008 Settings
Hi,

It happens sometimes that the sub version control is slowing the VS down. Currently, we are using Team foundation server and our development team is satisfied with it as well as with the VS performance.

Best Regards,
