I am using Kentico 5.0 with a custom mail sender module we have written that sends to the Kentico queue. I have recently installed Advanced Direct Remailer as the client wanted faster send times and I wanted better reporting that Windows SMTP offers.

But now I seem to have some instability. Although it appears all mails have been processed by SMTP, The IssueEmailsSent value stopped counting at about 13 000 of about 16 000 emails. I checked the Event log – and the only thing I see wrong is that the App seemed to stop – and then start again a bit later.

I think the issue is with Advanced Direct Remailer as I didn't have this problem before.

Can anyone suggest an high capacity (multithreading) SMTP server for Windows that might work better? I will also post to the forum.
