help with install
Hey all can any one help me with an install?

I have jsut downloaded the demo to my c drive and then moved the KenticoCMS Folder to my
C:\xampp\htdocs\KenticoCMS

but when i view it in my browser at

http://localhost/KenticoCMS/

It just lists the parent directory :(

Hw do I get this working?

Hi,

You need to run the installer first which will install Kentico CMS on your computer and then run the web installer which will install the web site (web project). You can find step by step description in our Developer's guide, in the Installation procedure section.

Thank you I'm looking at the direcotry on the CDRIVE but cannot see the install - do you know where in the folder the installer is?

Hi,

You should be looking for the installer file (kenticocms.exe) in the folder where you have downloaded it from the web site to your local disk drive.
