Error during Kentico Unistallation
Hello Team,
I am totally new to Kentico. I tried to install it (5.5) using Microsoft Web App Gallery on my hosting space(Windows server 2008) through WebsitePanel. Installation Succeeded, and I evaluated it, really liked it. But when I tried to uninstall it I faced error during uninstallation. I deleted the database and tried to delete all the Kentico folders.
'Permissions_Header.aspx' and other files just wont delete. Here is the details of the log file.

Server was unable to process request. ---> Access to the path 'Permissions_Header.aspx' is denied.
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.ReadResponse(SoapClientMessage message, WebResponse response, Stream responseStream, Boolean asyncCall)
at System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol.Invoke(String methodName, Object[] parameters)
at WebsitePanel.Providers.OS.OperatingSystem.DeleteFiles(String[] files)
at WebsitePanel.EnterpriseServer.FilesController.DeleteFiles(Int32 packageId, String[] files)

Hi,

Have you finally resolved the issue?
It is mostly a problem of the environment and the used tool, not Kentico CMS.

There are some discussions about the same error e.g. at social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums thread.

As a first aid, restarting IIS (calling iisreset) should help, then focus on permissions and app pools settings.
