Save Event log locally?
Is there any way to export the Event log, or save it locally? If not, are versions of the log stored on the server anywhere?

Hello,

Regrettably, there is no such funtionality in the current version, but you can simply get all the entries from the database table CMS_EventLog. If you delete the entries they aren't backed up anywhere.

So the only way to save all log entries would be to download the logevents.log file, THEN clear the log? Basically, back up the log before clearing it.

Hello,

I am not sure what is in the file "logevents.log" because it's not a deafault part of a Kentico installation, but if you clear the Event log then the entries are simply deleted and no backup is created.
