Bing Map and bird's eye view

Hi,

First time poster here so please bear with me.

My (Bing maps) web part looks great, but it is not opening on the view I would like.

I would like it to load on 'Bird's eye' view by default on page load. I have that set in Map Type > Map Properties. Yet it loads in 'Road view'.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

PS The labels dont show in the menu on the map in Firefox, but I can live with that.

Hello,

No, you were doing it right, but problem is, that the version 5.x of Kentico CMS is not developing and fixing anymore and so the Bing Maps API was changed and the version 6.2 of Bing Maps AJAX control shows only the Road map style as you can see in its documentation:

Bing Map - VEMapStyle Enumeration

So please use another map web part or upgrade your Kentico CMS to a higher version.
