I tried searching the site but I could not find what I was looking for. When I install the community website at the top it display links to update my profile view emails and so on, I would like to be able to display my avatar here as well. Any idea how to pull the current users avatar?

Hello,

You can add 'MyProfile' web part with custom alternative form where you put only UserAvatarID field into 'custom form layout'. You will also need to set 'Field type' property of 'UserAvatarID' field to 'Viewer - User avatar' in this alternative form.
