Problem with categories Urgent!!!!

Hi everyone

i have this problem i want to display many category list inside my page, and show different categories on each category list. ex
i have 15 categories (System categories), and i want to have 2 category list and show the first 7 on the first category list and the other on the second one, but when i create the category list i check the categories that i want to show on each one, but when i display it show me all categories on the 2 category list, i want to know how to solve this problem, by the way is possible to display my categories to all users?

Hi Daniel

Sorry just trying to understand your page structure - are the two category lists sub-pages of different root pages? eg: -

- category 1
- - Page 1
- - Page 2
- - Page 3
- - Page 4
- category 2
- - Page 5
- - Page 6
- - Page 7
- - Page 8

and you want to show the separate structures on different areas of the same page?

Have you got two navigation webparts - one listing sub-pages of 'category 1' and the second looking at 'category-2'? Still a little confused on what you are trying to achieve and what you have tried so far. Thanks Gavin

Hello,

if you want to display Category 1, Category 2, ... list you can use repeater web part, set up the path like:

/<path to parent>/%

and then use this setting for the repeater:

Maximum nesting level: 1
