CMSListMenu Submenu Links
Hi!

I'm using the CMSListMenu object to create a navigation bar that displays the first two levels of our navigation. The problem I face is that, when you go to a page on the third level, the second level does not display as a hyperlink. I also uncheck the "show in navigation" property of the third level pages. I don't want it to display as a link when you're on the page, but when someone's on a third level page, I want the second level to be a link.

Any ideas?

-Eric

RE:CMSListMenu Submenu Links
Hi Eric

Before I make any suggestions - just want to clarify what it is that you are trying to achieve.

So your main navigation shows the root level pages (level one) and then sub-pages within them (level two) is this displayed using a drop-down of some sort?

So when users are on a third level page you say the link to the second level no longer works? how is the link being displayed eg: - in the main-navigation or within the text region.

Just trying to understand how you are displaying the different links at different levels.

Thanks

Gavin

RE:CMSListMenu Submenu Links
Hi,

Gavin has good points. Please explain us your aim in more details. I tried to reproduce that but to no avail.

Please provide us with more details, especially let us know the webpart settings. Please also post here some screenshots (you know, a picture is worth a thousand words ;-).

Best regards
