Booking and E-commerce
I am embarking on a Web site project that involves processing classroom sign-ups. Therefore, I imagine using the Booking system of Kentico. But I also need to accept credit card payments for these bookings, therefore I image using the E-commerce module.

But my question is how do these two modules integrate? It seems to me that the booking system is pretty limited, so would it be better to just use the "product" feature and mark each classroom that way? I would like to also use all of the E-commerce features such as Departments, Categories, Product inventory (class size), Discounts, etc.

Hi,

You can use the approach described in this knowledge base article. It is for events, but booking system events are very similar so it should work too.

Thanks. That article did not come up in my searches. But it has now confirmed my suspicions that the two modules are not integrated out-of-the-box.
