How do i add a webpart to a subpage without it also being added to the parent page
When i add a webpart to a subpage it is also being added to the parent page. How do i keep this from happening?

Are they using the same template? If so that is why. Remember that when you add web parts you are adding them to the template.

Hello.

Yes, it is like previous post states. Web parts and their settings are shared across all pages, based on given template. This is native behavior. If you want to avoid it, you can clone ad-hoc template for given page in its Properties -> Template section.
