How to display the list of pdf files on home page..

Hi all,

I have a requirment that I have few pdf forms which I have to display in page linked those form with title of the forms and also I want to display 3-4 of thos forms on the home page and with more link to that page so that user can see the popular forms on the home page , when user will click on the link the pdf fprm will open, Can any one help in this issue as it is very urgent and I am new to Kentico.

Hi Sansugoi,

you could use a repeater for your PDFs and use the web part property: Select top N documents: 3. Then you can add More... link to Content after of that repeater. It will open a new window or redirect users to a different page where you can list all PDFs by a different repeater.

Hi Helena,

Thanks for reply my query, I have tried this by using the repeater and the file is uploaded and showing the title with link to the pdf file but the file is not openning , when I click on the link the url " http://xxx.xxx.x.xx:x/getattachment/e8720020-4d02-47fd-80b4-17e4b6fd2d97/RENUNCIATION-FORM.aspx" is openning as blank after clicking it showing like it is opening the pd but after the pdf loading then it show a blank page I use the AttachDocumentLis and document type as CMS.File .

Please Help me in this porplem that how to solve thi.

If you select the PDF file in the content tree and switch to Live site mode do you see the file correctly? Did you try a different browser? Are you able to see other PDFs in the browser correctly?
