Flash web part
Hi,
I'm new to Kentico and have a question about the Flash web part. I see that the web part has a property for the SWF file URL. Let's say I create a folder in CMS Desk called Flash and upload my SWF file to that folder - what will my URL for the SWF file be? When I search under my wwwroot I'm unable to find the uploaded SWF file anywhere.

Instead of doing that, use the media library. The media library works very well and has permenant links you can use. If using the perm link, you would enter /getmedia/<guid here>/.swf.aspx otherwise you can use the media library directory.

On the top tab strip, Tools>Media Library, upload your files there. When it comes time to use them in editible text (or just a general link) use the WYSIWYG editor to add a hyperlink (typically the globe with a chain link) and on the top tab strip, select Media Library.

Hello.

See example for Matrix.swf file uploaded as cms.file document´s attachment in Images folder in content tree.

Alias path of this file can be e.g. /Images-(1)/Matrix (you can see it in Properties ->General tab).

Then, I can use these URLs in Flash web part:

~/Images-(1)/Matrix.aspx
~/Images-(1)/Matrix.swf
