Page Security and Content Staging
Using v5.5.3996 R2. Have content staging setup on our dev site I set a few pages to allow/deny role groups and synced them to our live site but the only thing that carried over was the access (authentication required) and not the permissions (allow/deny role groups). Any ideas on what I can change so I don't have to do this twice or if this could be a bug?

RE:Page Security and Content Staging
Hello,

This behavior is by design. As you can see in our documentation, document permissions aren't synchronized (ACL). It's because security permissions on the live server and on the development pc may be different for the same group of editors.

There is no doubt in my mind permissions may be different, hence the reason for having a live and development environment. There may also be other differences but wouldn't you give the user the option to sync or not sync those items vs. restrict them all together?

Thanks for the documentation.

RE:Page Security and Content Staging
Hello,

Currently there are no planned changes of which I know of regarding this feature. If you need to synchronize the permissions you will have to synchronize them manually with some custom code or tool for database synchronization.
