Create a new document not from CMSDesk

Hello,

Is it possible to create a new document (important - my custom document type) not from CMSDesk (standart procedure by adding a new child to site tree) but from public page using any standart web-part? or I should create my custom webpart or inline control (what is better in this case?)? of course, document should be a child of particular site node.

Hello.

It is possible via API (http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/creating_documents.htm), or you can use User contributions module. This module allows you to create content editing interface for site members. It means that chosen website visitors can create, edit and delete content, even if they are not editors and cannot access CMS Desk.
