Captcha security code loading slowly
Is there a way to improve the speed of the captcha image loading?

On occasion, the Captcha security code takes much longer to load then the rest of the page.

Thanks,
Joe

Hello,

Could you please specify how much does it take to render the Captcha security code?

Moreover, what browser do you use?

Anyway, there is a new Logic captcha avaliable, so you can give it a try: Logic captcha.

Best regards,

Hi Michal,

Now that I have more information, we've actually had multiple users report to us that they do not see the captcha image at all on http://surroundhealth.net/Join.aspx.

Has the Kentico team had similar issues / reports in the past in the security code web part?

At first, I assumed that users were not waiting for the image to load. I had a couple cases, at random, in which it it took a short while for the captcha image to load. But a few users have reported that they 'cannot see it at all'... I've tried a number of browsers and repeated tests, but can't reproduce it.

RE:Captcha security code loading slowly
Hello,

I have to say that we have not enountered this behavior before.

However, please make sure that users do not use any plugins that could cause this behavior.

Please also check that they have enabled images in their browsers.

Anyway, I was not able to reproduce this issue neither. I used more browsers (IE8, IE9, FF5, Opera, Chrome) and it seemed to work in each of them.

We would need more information under what circumstances does this happen on user’s side so we could be able to reproduce it.

Best regards,
