RE:Facebook Connect webpart is not working
Hello,

I tried that on your site and was given the following error:

The application you are trying to access is unavailable or restricted.

This can be caused by the fact that the Facebook application is not registered properly in the Facebook dev environment. Please see one of the related forum threads:

RE:Facebook Connect webpart is not working
Hello,

That's strange. Did you checked it in the Site Manager -> Administration -> Users section?
Moreover, please make sure, you have set the Facebook connect Role which will be used for new users to be assigned to. It can be defined via the Assign new users to roles property in the Site Manager -> Settings -> Your_site -> Facebook connect section.

RE:Facebook Connect webpart is not working
I had already assign role 'CMSFacebookUsers' to Facebook Connect users.

Hello,

When I attempt to login using your login button, I'm given a window with access aproval to the Take a challenge application. I gave it a try and allowed access but was redirected somewhere incorrectly, I guess.

Can you confirm that you use our Facebook connect web part without any customizations and it is setup as per our instructions? facebook connect settings

Best regards

RE:Facebook Connect webpart is not working
That URL was not wrong. Actually, application is configured at PORT 8080, After granting access on successful login, port no is getting removed.

I have setup the account as per the instructions. Moreover, i haven't made any customizations in Kentico Facebook Connect webpart.

RE:Facebook Connect webpart is not working
Hello,

What about the facebook settings? Have you tried it without the port number at all?

Or, is that port number included in the Facebook settings on developers.facebook.com?

Best regards
