Debug mode
Does Kentico have a debug mode in the user interface itself, or is it controlled by the web.config debug mode setting alone?

RE:Debug mode
There is a section in the Site manager where you can see the debugging info: Admin > System > Debug http://www.kentico.com/Docs/DevGuide/index.html?cache_items_debug.htm

Note that you have to add some keys to the web.config to get this section to show: http://www.kentico.com/Docs/DevGuide/index.html?cache_items_debug.htm

And of course here's the debugging overview docs: http://www.kentico.com/Docs/DevGuide/index.html?cache_items_debug.htm

Cheers,
Lance

RE:Debug mode
And if I haven't added those parameters to the web.config, and want debugging disabled (we think it's throwing false positives in the clients security scan), will turning off debug mode in web.config suffice?

RE:Debug mode
Hi,

Here is the documentation about debugs available in Kentico - you can check whetehr any of them are enabled - Debug overview.

Please make sure you are running the most recent version of Kentico CMS (except 6.0 - the upgrade to this version will be available next week, but at least v5.5R2+latest hotfix).

And could you please provide us with some details like exact information, reports of the outputs of your scan? Your description is very general and we need to have closer look to say whether the report is right or it is just false positive because of something...

Thank you.

Best regards,
Juraj Ondrue
