How could i change or create a folder for Uploading images

I am new to kentico and I did create a new Document type where i have an option of upload an image. But I am not able to know where the image is save and how could i retrieve it . It would be great if any one can help me out how to figure out to change or create a path for Uploading images and files

Hi,

It depends which field type you selected.

There is one type for selecting images uploaded to the CMS as standalone documents (http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/file_management_overview.htm) or files from document attachmends and media libraries.

But when i created an empty blank new site it dint do it for me . Do you know the reason for it Thanks for your time Hemanth

Hi,

You need to create some media library first and set the files folder for the library. Also, you can set the files folder for your site in the settings - http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/files_related_settings.htm. Files are stored on the file system only if this option is selected in the settings. Otherwise the files are stored in DB - http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/where_the_files_are_stored.htm
