CMSListMenu
I'm using a CMSListMenu control as the MainMenu in my application and I set the SelectNodesMaxRelativeLevel property to 2.

I need to keep the fist level highlighted when I display the second level and I need to keep the 1st and 2nd levels highlighted when the 2nd level node is displayed. Is there a property I need to set? How can I do this?

Thanks...

RE:CMSListMenu
Hello,

We have been solving this issue with Kimberly via e-mail and phone so only for other visitors:

Unfortunately, we do not support the functionality of CMSListMenu where all items of path are highlighted when you hover over an item which is not current. You may highlight only the particular item when the mouse is hovering over it but not its path.

RE:CMSListMenu
I think this is a must functionality for this control. I've seen lots of websites with this kind of effect on their navigation which I think makes them usable. Come on Kentico guys, you can build this!

Hello,

thank you for your suggestion. We will consider it. You can also add the suggestion to kentico.uservoice.com - if it has many voices it has a better chance to be implemented.

RE:CMSListMenu
Hi Kentico,

Is there any update done with regards to this functionality? I badly need this otherwise I must resort to some third-party jquery menu out there which is a bit of pain.

RE:CMSListMenu
Hello,

regrettably, this feature will not be implemented in the 5.5 version. Maybe the next release.

However, this article could help you to integrate a 3rd party component: http://devnet.kentico.com/Knowledge-Base/Web-parts---Controls/Integrating-3rd-party-components-in-Kentico-CMS.aspx
