Adding an extra tab in the cms for a custom section
Is there a way of adding a custom section to the cms with a tab in the top nav (where Content, My Desk, Tools, Administration are) to get to it???? I have asked a similar question before and i know i can amend the cms templates just wondering if there is an easy way to add this tab?

Hello.

In newer version (5.x), it is possible to do it in a very simple and a user-friendly way, via UI personalization module. When using older version (4.x), you need to modify physical aspx page directly, as you can find it in your project folder, CMSDesk directory. Here, physical aspx pages for CMSDesk UI are placed. Particular page´s name can be seen, if you click given menu by right mouse button (when being in CMSDesk), choose this frame / show frame info. Thank you.
