Product Name gets wiped out
Hi,
I run a ecommerce site with Kentico 4 and I use the ASPX templates.

When creating a new product, I have the product tab (in CMSDesk) visible where I can enter all required information about the product, such as name, sku, price...and so on.

I also use the Form tab and some custom fields (within the form tab) to add more information to the product.

My problem is, when editing or updating a custom field in the Form tab, the product name on the Product tab gets deleted.

This is the case just when updating data in the form tab and applies only for the product name in the product tab. All other entered information in the Product tab are still there.

Has someone an idea, what could cause the issue? Any help would be highly apreciated.

Hi,

What is the exact version of Kentico CMS you use? Regretably, in one of the 4.x version was a bug as you described. Could you please apply latest hotfix for your CMS version?

Please download the latest hotfix for 4.1 version which is 4.1.21 from this page - http://devnet.kentico.com/Bugtracker/Hotfixes.aspx. Instructions are included in the hotfix package.
