Site menu and permissions
Hi,

I have a menu set up with CheckPermissions="True". There are quite a few pages which are public, so have set the general permissions for that document type for all to read. However, there is one page which I want only users of a certain type to see. If I break inheritance and for the page give that role permission to view it, the item still appears in the menu for everyone - I need to deny all other role types from reading the page in order for it not to appear in the menu for them. Is there a way of saying only users of a certain role should be able to view the page in the menu and all others cannot, without denying them one by one?

Thanks,
Tom

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same problem.

Hi,

This is quite old post and I think it was answered somewhere else. Anyway, could you please try to follow these links (I assume that you are using version 4.x or later):
