Help with Godaddy hosting.
Hi - I'm wondering if someone can help me. I've read all other posts re godaddy hostng and can't seem to import my website. Let me start out by explaining.

Initially I installed Kentico locally and created my new website on my computer using sql server locally.

I then followed a mix and match of instructions from the dev guide to the instructions on the forums. I created a temp folder on c:\ and copied all files from the temp folder to the root folder of my domain. I then created my database using godaddy admin. I then created the virtual objects and copies those folders over too. I was then able to go to my website and set the database up with absolutely no problem - as described in the forums/dev guide. So at this point I have a working version of kentico. Everything seems to be working fine. The only problem is I've already created my website locally so I don't want to have to create it again on live.

OK so I went into my original project, ran it and exported my website. I then copied the zip file form the export folder in my local project to the import folder on the server. I then selected to import my website, selected the zip file but it just gets stuck on uncompressing the file. I've left it for half an hour and nothing happens! Any ideas? Anyone else have this problem.

A quick response would be great and I want to get this up and running asap!

Cheers in advance,

Tom.

RE:Help with Godaddy hosting.
Hi Tom,
well if you have encountered this kind of problem during the unpacking of your export package you can simply unpack it manually and place its folder to the import folder.
Because GoDaddy hosting is medium trust it may not allow you to unpack imported files automatically.
Best Regards,
Zbysek Nemec.
