Replace text on multiple pages
Hi,

Is there a way I can replace a text that appears on different pages without having to manually edit all these pages?

I do not have access to the MySQL database (the system administrator has access), but perhaps there is a tool I can use from the Site Manager or CMS Desk?

Thanks!

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is no such a tool. You could eventually write custom code that would search and replace text in DocumentContent field of records in CMS_Document table.

Best Regards,

Do you have access to MS Query Analyzer (SQL Manager)? If so, I have a quick script that could help you out...happy share it. (For future, I'm thinking about constructing a web part...I totally see a need for it.)

Ooops! I just saw that you said you don't have access to the database directly. I'll post again if/when I've had a chance to build the web part...no promises though, as this will be my first custom part.
