Problem in Attaching Kentico CMS website with Existing Website
I am trying to connect kentico CMS pages with existing website pages.

I have merged Web.config files and also merged BIN folder and App_Code folder in ASP.NET.

I already put Kentico CMS folder in my existing website folder and created virtual directories for both Kentico CMS and my personal website folder.

I finally succeeded in redirecting from my website to Kentico CMS pages but now Kentico is not showing CMS Desk from where I could change its content.

Kentico CMS Desk is showing login page and also logging in but after login it is not showing any editable section of CMS.

If anyone have solution of this problem so plz reply soon.

Thanks in Advance

Hi Anuj,

Could you please tell us more details? What do you see if you log in the CMSDesk?
Are you a Global administrator?

Best regards,
Helena Grulichova

RE:Problem in Attaching Kentico CMS website with Existing Website
Hi Helena,

Thanks for considering my problem. When I am logging in Kentico CMS using my Existing then it is showing Default.aspx page of Kentico CMS website with Logout button and User Name on top right side but it is not redirecting me on /CMSDesk/Default.aspx page. But If I am explicitly typing this URL http://localhost/MySite/CMSDesk/Default.aspx page then it is showing proper page and changes are also reflecting in my website.

If I am placing KenticoCMS directory in as a seprate directory then it is running perfectly.

I have made my main website as a virtual directory and also made KenticoCMS directory as Virtual Directory.

Please provide me a relevant solution so that it will start working fine.

Thanks,
Anuj
