Free Edition Licensing Question
Hello,

I recently downloaded the Free Edition of your software from your website and was planning on using to set up a test website to evaluate the product before we made any decisions to purchase a full version.

I have everything set up and it states: "Thank you for evaluating Kentico CMS. You have 29 days remaining in your trial." I understand that there are certain CMS feature limitations to the Free Version, but is there a reason that it would be setting a limit on the number of days I have to use this?

A license key was also generated on your website but I am not sure exactly where this needs to be entered. I clicked on the link that states " If you have a full license key for your domain, please enter it here" and entered it there, but that does not seem to be working.

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

RE:Free Edition Licensing Question
Hi,

The only difference between free and any other version of Kentico CMS is the license not the software itself. If you want to evaluate Kentico CMS we would recommend you to use trial version (trial license). If this license expires and you have not finished your evaluation, we can extend this license for you for next 30 days. Please contact our support team in this case (support@kentico.com). If you want to insert new license key, you can do so in CMS Site Manager -> licenses tab. It might be necessary to restart the application from CMS Site Manager -> Administration -> System section. Please make sure that there are only valid licenses in CMS Site Manager -> Licenses section and also that they are not of the same domain name.

Best Regards,
Miroslav Remias.
