Changing database
I have sql 2007 install directly on my web server hardware. I now have a dedicated sql server. Were are the connection strings to point the site to the new database?

You can change connection string in your web.config file located in the root of you project folder. Please see more details in our Developer's Guide: http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/web_config_parameters.htm
