Upgrade to .NET 3.5 disaster
I am working with Kentico 4.1, after trying to upgrade from .NET framework 2.0 to .NET framework 3.5 I had a lot of problems with "System.Web.Extensions", so I reinstalled. After pointing the install to the existing database I get:

[DataClassInfo.LoadFromArray]: The number of source fields does not match the number of required fields.

What could I be doing wrong?

RE:Upgrade to .NET 3.5 disaster
Hello,

I believe we've solved it over the support e-mails. So this will be maybe for other users who get to the same wall.

This might happen when you connect old database with new project (in another version).

Best regards

RE:Upgrade to .NET 3.5 disaster
I am having a similar problem. My developer built using a sample site. I created a new install without all the samples and tried to connect to an existing Kentico DB and I now get the same error. Do I need to run an upgrade job against the DB?

Thanks
Mark

Hello,

Well you need to upgrade your site to have the same version of files and database you try to connect to. Or install new one. It's up to you.
