can´t create 3 forums even tho the matrix says i can :(

i got the free edition license and im trying to make the 3 forums that i am allowed to but the system refuses and telling me im not allowed to make any forums at all now in what i read from the feuture matrix i am alowed to have 3 so whats up with that if any knows ?

so far i have a forum group made and under that im trying to make the 3 but no go says system.

any ideas ?

Hi,

If you are getting similar error message to the below one when creating your forums:

Forum can not be created due to license limitations.

It is highly possible that you have already created 3 forums in your web site. It doesn’t matter if there are three forum groups with one forum in each group of one group with three forums, you simply can not create more than 3 forums in Free edition. This is the limitation of Free edition.

yes thats true the scenario is thus

i got one and only one forum group and that has no forums in it at all so at this point there no forum at all on the site now when i try to create my first forum it says the error you entered above that i cant understand as i have no forums made yet its completly empty. and it has me puzzled do to the fact the free license give 3 forums but im not alowed to have any :(

and if u would like to see it for you selfe i can provide you with the login detail for the dev site im running it on so you can examin it you sellfe i sure cant get it to make one and as right now no forums exist accept the forum group and there is only one .

Hi,

Could you please let us know if you have any ad-hoc forums (http://devnet.kentico.com/docs/devguide/adding_ad_hoc_forum_on_the_web.htm)?

How many web sites are you running in your Kentico CMS installation?

Could you please post any screenshots of your forum settings?

and for the ad-hoc as i can see there is none of those in the site and i am only hosting one site of kentico.

If you are sure that there is no additional web site in your Kentico CMS installation with some forums, please send us e-mail to support@kentico.com with your live web site URL and also with access credentials, so we can try to investigate what might be wrong in this case. Please refer to this forum post.
