Best practise; products in different sizes
Hi!

Anyone know the best way yo handle stock information for products with variants (eg sizes). Got a customer with a web store selling shoes. We can add variants to each product, but not taking care of the stock issue in that way.

Want we want to do is to add the product, and then the variants (eg size 9,10,11). The problem is that the stock information needs to be handle on size-level.

Anyone that have experience from a similiar case? Best practise to solve this?

Have a nice day!

RE:Best practise; products in different sizes
Hi,

You can do it in this way.

Let's say that you have ten items of each size (we have 3 different sizes). So, in the product option you will set 10 items for each. Now, in the product configuration you will add a summary of all these values for the product options, so in this case it means that 30 items are available.

If someone will buy product with size A, the overall available items will be 28, items of size A only 9, and ten items in the other two options.

I hope it makes sense.

Best Regards,
