I try linking it to my site, though the icon of the donation button display but once i click on it, the form link is not working for some reason. By right it should display a dialog box whereby user could key in particular and detail as the following image, kindly take a look at the image which i've attach (mine was just showing a donation icon and when i click on it, it won't lead me to the following)

Hi,
Donations as the same as memberships are just product types and they are not linked to Papal product types, you will need to handle this by code the way I´m trying to do it until Kentico integrate it out of the box when PayPal payment method is selected.

Hi,

You're answering the 2-year old post, but nevermind...
I think that the original question was about direct redirection to the PayPal site, wasn't it?
E.g. something like in our old KB article about direct PayPal payment...

By the way, what exactly (and how) would you wish to be implemented in Kentico CMS out of the box in this matter?

Thanks and regards,
Zdenek

RE:Couldn't link pay pal donation button to my website
Hi Zdenek,
What I would like to see about membership products and PayPal is the ability to create a PayPal recurring payment (paypal subscription) when PayPal payment method is selected. To achieve this I needed to create a custom IPN handler that will receive the response from Paypal when the next payment is processed then search the original orderid, membershipid in the orderitem then create a new order with API to renew the membership and create a new invoice to make the site more consistent with paid transactions and tax declarations.
I already added the sugestion to the uservoice web
