Free License and MyAccount.aspx
Hi,

I've currently installed the "Free license" for localhost on my machine and trying to play with some stuff. After I created a new standard user (not admin) and logged in, I get an error if i click on "My Account".

Access to the page '/KenticoCMS/SpecialPages/MyAccount.aspx' is denied.

Are there any restrictions for this?

Thanks,

Peter

RE:Free License and MyAccount.aspx
Hi Peter,

Unfortunately, there is permission set on this document and permissions are not allowed in free license. You could eventually delete this page and create new one with MyAccount web part on it manually.

Hello,

If I am understanding my colleague correctly, he meant to create a new page in the content tree of your site, without any permissions and place the My Account webpart on it.

RE:Free License and MyAccount.aspx
Hi Helena,

I have tried many time but still cannot get it. Can you pls guide me step by step on the process. I am using your corporate website template under the partner menu. If I register a new user and it don't exist
---> it go to the denied page
else if the id exist
----> give a message the id already exist as what you have done in the partner menu.
All I want to do is inform the user that he/her id and password is created sucessfully. Thanks.
Regards,

RE:Free License and MyAccount.aspx
Hi Clarence,

1. You find the page with alias path: /SpecialPages/MyAccount in your content tree and delete the page.

2. You create a new MyAccount document in the same folder in the content tree. You can use for example a blank page (Simple layout).

3. You can switch to Design tab and add the My account web part.

Does it help?

RE:Free License and MyAccount.aspx
Hi Helena,

I have tried it out by deleting the /SpecialPage/Myaccount and recreate new page with the myaccount in the same folder with the web part my account. When I login in as a valid user in the form the system goes to another page and with a stop sign access to the page is denied myaccount.aspx denied.
