Meta tags not displaying in source code
Hi,

First post here and I'm not very clued-up with a lot of the behind-the-scenes settings with Kentico, so I'm hoping you'll be able to help me out here.

We are using v4.1 and my problem is this: when adding any data into the Metadata property fields for a page, there are no corresponding meta tags displayed in the header source code when viewed in browser.

I am not sure if there should be some sort of code to the Master page to enable this functionality, but having read around the issue, everything seems to be set up OK.

Can anyone help me out please?

Hello,

Using version 4.1, I added data in the Metadata property fields. Checking the source code I was able to see my data within the meta tags in the source code. Perhaps this is just a simple caching problem? Can you please try clearing your browser cache or reloading the application in a different browser? Also can you confirm if you are using any cache options within Kentico?

Hi,

Thanks for the advice, you are right.. I think it was a caching problem. And I also seem to need to publish the document in workflow from our staging site for the metadata title tag to update in the source code (when viewed in preview mode in staging site).
