CMSDesk and ASPX TEMPLATES, DESIGN MODE???
Hi,
I created a new site using my own aspx templates.
When in cmsdesk there is no design tab.
If I would like to add SEARCH to a certain page, but do it throw cmsdesk, how can i achieve this?

Cant seen to add WebPartContainer in visual studio and have them appear in cmsdesk.

THANKS

RE:CMSDesk and ASPX TEMPLATES, DESIGN MODE???
Hi,

There is no Design tab in ASPX templates since you can create the layout, add web parts and controls directly in the page template file. This is the main difference between portal engine and ASPX. In portal engine you do not have physical files, so the Design tab is needed.

Best Regards,
