Clone web part properties
Is it possible to add a web part to a page that is a copy of another web part with the same web part properties?

For instance, I have a search box that I've customized a lot using the Web part properties and I want to put it on other page templates.

Hello.
For this purpose, you would need to clone appropriate web part and set requested properties directly in its code-behind. You can find web parts in <solution>/CMSWebparts/<category>/ subfolders.
