E-Commerce Option Inventory

Hi,

we want to use the e-commerce module for one of our clients but have a question concerning the options.

Presently, that options do not support inventory. But how would you solve this problem:

I sell a certain T-Shirt A in 3 colors: White, Black and Grey. Currently I would need to have a Product called T-Shirt A with 100 available items. If I sell a certain color, how can I know the quantities of each Color?

If I decide to create a product for each colors (T-Shirt A Black, ...), How would you display them as Options?

Hi,

You can do it so that the total T-shirt item available will be e.g. 100 items. Then, you have 4 color options and you can have 30 items for white color, 30 items for black, 20 for red and 20 for green.

Now, when someone purchases green T-shirt, there will be only 99 shirts left and 19 green. I hope it makes sense.
