More questions about Community
Just after an explanation of how the Community Sample works - in regards to the User's profile page.

1. How does UserPublicProfile webpart know whose details to pull back ? ie. you click on a member - to view their profile.. and it shows their details?

2. In the sample it comes with 2 message boards on the profile page - My announcements which only lets the profile person update and the Comments which allows anyone to leave messages. What determines who has access to add comments to each of these message boards? I can't spot the difference.

3. On the right hand side there is "my blogs" and "my friends" and "my groups" etc.. is this for the profile person's .. or for the logged in user? And is it possible to use these web parts for both purposes? (ie. on a profile page I want to show the member's profile details, and underneath what friends they have, their blogs, their groups etc).. and allow the logged in user to also be able to access their's easily. Or is the Shortcut web part the only way to view the logged in user's friends/groups/etc..

Hopefully this makes sense!! Thanks :)

RE:More questions about Community
Hello,
1. You can specify it in Display user property of this webpart, for example using macro
{%CurrentUser.UserID%}
to display Current user profile.

2. This behavior is specified by Access property MessageBoard webpart

3. Well I don't understand really what you mean by profile user, but these functionalities should be accessible to all registered users.

Best Regards,
Zbysek Nemec.
