Exclude folder names from URL
Hi,

Does anyone know how to exclude folder names from the URL when creating a new page?

Currently, when I create a new page the url looks like:

/Home/shop/menswear

/Footer/Terms-Conditions

/TopMenu/FirstLevel/SecondLevel


I'd like the CMS to ignore the top-level or containing folder when creating the URL. Is this possible?

Hi,

You can use the URL aliases to achieve this need.

You can do it manually or you can also develop custom event handler where you can check e.g. the OnAfterInsert event for documents, and it this event you can handle the URL alias assigment for particular document.
