How to use "Remember me" checkbox in logon webpart?
When I check "Remember me" in login webpart, after close browser then open the logon page again, it still need to input username and password before login site.
In my usderstanding, if I click remember me checkbox, there is no need to input username and password again in next logon.

So how to use "Remember me" checkbox in logon webpart?

RE:How to use "Remember me" checkbox in logon webpart?
You should configure the machineKey section in web.config for it to work.
You can use this tool to generate the keys:

RE:How to use "Remember me" checkbox in logon webpart?
Hello,

Have you managed to fix it?

It's possible you mean it that you still need to type credentials manually when login in? Right? If so please note that 'Remember me' checkbox serves for something like automatic log in. If you log in and have this checkbox ticked and you stop working at all with your pages but don't log out, this feature will be useful because next time you will access the pages you won't have to log in again. It’s something like persistent connection. You can need to set auto filling directly in your browser.

Anyway if it's not your case, have you tried solution suggested by Yehuda?

Best Regards
