Attachments
The attachments link on the Attachments page under Properties is not working. It does not click through or open the upload field.
I was testing the new feature on a page menu item and an article document.

RE:Attachments
Hello,

Do you mean 'New attachment' link? I've tested it both in FF 3 and IE 8 and it works well on my machine. What browser do you use? This may be javascript related issue. Could you please try this in some other browser? Could you please try to disable add-ons and plug-ins in your browser?

Best Regards,

Martin Dobsicek

RE:Attachments
Not sure what the issue was, but it had to do with the web site I imported. I went back and reinstalled and the CMS files for 4.1 and it works now.

RE:Attachments
Is there a way to add information to an attachment? Example: Photo, photo credit, caption.
I need this information to correspond with each photo I attach to a document and able to be called through a transformation.

RE:Attachments
Hi,

You can for example store your information in some document type field. You can also create custom document type (something like CMS.File) which would hold just one attachment and some information about the attachment and then you can upload such documents into content tree and display them in repeater for example. However, there is no native support in Kentico CMS 4.x to add custom fields for attachment.

Miroslav Remias.
